Magical Time Traveling Jewelry

So the other day, I was looking through some of my unfinished projects and I found a locket which I embellished with vintage watch parts. I have a nasty habit of starting a personal project just to stop short and put it on the back burner. Anyway, after staring at the pendant for a while, I decided to put it on a silver chain along with a bronze key and red flower. I am so happy that I did because I love the end result. It inspired me to write a back story about the necklace. I'm going to include it in one of my tales.

Black Moon Family Earrings

Hey there!
Well today I recieved my swarovski crystals in the mail. I am so excited because I always wanted to wear the earrings that Sapphire and Prince Diamond wore and now I can!
As soon as I got in the house, I unwrapped my packages and got down to business. I'm happy with how these turned out! I just need to put the finishing touches on 'em and then I'll be able to wear these babies :)

Open Shop and Zines

Hey there!

It has been some time since I've last been on here. As stated in the last post, I finally, FINALLY,  got my stuff together and reopened my shop! And I must say, this is the most I have posted ever! If you click on that link up there at the top that says "Shop", you can see all that I posted.
I'm super excited because I've got some art prints up.
I even posted my first ever zine :3 It is a zine about Zell Dincht (Zell is a character from Final Fantasy VIII, my favorite FF game). In fact, I liked making a zine so much, that I am going to get started on another real soon.

Anyway, back to this Zell Zine.

Been A While

So it has been a while since I last posted anything on my blog. I am happy to say that I have some good news! I have decided to open my etsy shop again <3 I know I know. I've been on and off for a while, mainly due to work. But now, I just want to have it open so that I can share handmade creations (and making a little money on the side never hurts either). I hope to have it opened by the end of the month. Hmm, I thought I had more to say than just that... Well if I think of anything else, I will be sure to log back on.

Short Illustrated Poem/Story

Yikes! I know that I have not gotten on lately (myyy baaad). I've been a bit busy with other things; but still, no excuse! I have been working on a short comic or illustrated, uh...zine, for a poem/story I wrote in my Hello Kitty Journal. I hope to have some pages up, maybe some WIP pictures. But for now, I will be sure to post some watercolors. I just started up again and I really want to do more with this medium. Thanks for stopping by :)

So later on that day, after walking around in the dealer's room and whatnot, we decided to go sit in on the Jason David Frank's (Tommy the White Ranger/Green Ranger/Red Ranger) panel. He is a pretty swell guy. He's also funny.

MTAC!!! Middle Tennessee Anime Convention

Alright, so a few weeks ago, I was supposed to post some Anime Convention pics, but I got so caught up with work and stuff. So here it is.
In case you have never been to a Anime Convention, I just want to tell you that it is soooo much fun. There are many things one can do. You can attend panels, workshops, concerts, play video games... there's just loads of things to do. Anywho, this is my 2nd time (and my husband's first time) going to MTAC and it was HUGE. At least 10,000 folks attended!

Lil Sailor Moon

Just got back from church, awesome teaching today.
Anyway, this was something I did a few days ago. I did a quick sketch of Sailor Moon while I was at work. I thought it was so cute that I decided to to put it in digital format. I can honestly say that I was inspired by ms.coconut's works (she has some pretty awesome pieces imo).
I also decided to put this into digital format because it is apart of a youtube video I did as a gift for my friend. I think I will work on the shading a little more.
